Professor: (Pro)
(The crazy uncle guy/bigsib) He really shouldn't be in charge of a kid)

Age: 46

Personality:
Professor is a very eccentric person, he is hyperactive and jittery, Pro once focused on something hyper focuses and rambles it is hard to get him out of a faze.
He is very headstrong in his opinions and stays true to them regardless of who say what or who leaves him.
Pro isn't heartless however, he does, if someone has similar interest like to enjoy the company of friends, and will if not in a faze have conversations of their own.

Personality Quirk:
Hums while concentrating
Always has small lollies  on him (often pops one in his mouth)

Fave Food:
Blue Glowing Mushrooms

Wants:
Pro wants to connect two worlds one of which few believe in.
He has dedicated his while life to researching and science.

Needs:
To listen to those around him
to get out of his head and realize that, there are things that are a bit more important then his own interests


Interests:
Pro is interesting in finding a way to the surface, he is half human, and believes it is his fate to connect the two, while people don't believe in humans, he does not care in the slightest
His interest for the world where his mother came from the countless stories his father told him as a child, which only fueled his want.

Science, Pro has a deep intrigue of how the underworld works, and the creatures that live there

Food, one interest he has is good food, he compares it to cemetery a lot, saying how the right combination of food and chemicals leads to an exciting taste

Mother:
Pro's Mother was a human who found herself lost in the underworld, after slipping into a cave, from the surface, she met Pro' father who helped her, taking her into town,
Throughout her life in the underground she disguised herself as a monster, while she loved Pros father she was scared of what would happen if the rest of the monsters found out she was human

Father:
Pro's Father is a bird like monster, he grew up and lived in the underground, He had a deep love for books and stories and when he found pro's mother he was overjoyed, he wanted her to himself, his own treasure.


Background:
Pro grew up in the underground, he grew up with both parent, knowing his was human, he loved hearing stories of the surface world, and wanted to go there himself, going on adventures to try and find the way out,
Though researching the caves and way out growing up, he fell in love with science and obsessed with finding a way out.



Relationships:

Loon:
Loon to the professor is a good companion, she latches on to his words, he rarely has people who listen to his rambling and rant of science and the surface world. He still puts his research first but he loves the company, it is so rare for people to want to stick around once they learn what he is like.


Mother:
Pro loves his mother and what she was,
 he hung onto the words she said, they would often cook together, \

Conked it when Pro was 33

Father:
A librarian Bird like creature, he did not have wings or could fly,
Pro did not admire him as much as his mother, but still loved him all the same,
going through stories and on adventures together.

Loon: Dragon Slug
(The little sibling)

Age: 12

Personality:
Loon is quite absent minded and goofy, she picks up things a bit slow and is quick brash and loud, she runs away from problems she doesn't know how to handle and avoid problems until they can no longer be avoided, this digs into her being easily distracted, as she will purposely distract herself from problems rather then confronting them.

Personality Quirk:
She loves playing with her food before eating it, (preferably alive)
Top half down, skids using legs
overs limes when excited

Fave food:
Giant Pill Bugs

Wants:
Loon, want to be with Pro and go on adventures with him, he is fascinated by the surface and she soon adopts that interests as her own.
She wants to avoid staying with her family as she feels out of place, she feels like she belongs with the professor

Needs:
Be more Independent
Realize she does not need to latch onto another person, act like another person
that's its okay to be herself.
She shouldn't rely on one person for validation, that she can believe in herself

Interests:
She loves things that are unusual, she likes hunting and uncovering things, gross things,
Exploring,

Due to hanging around the professor she has adopted his interests along with her own, though not as extreme as his are.
tagging along like a little sibling

Competitive for their parent attention, they berate and fight a lot

Background:
Loon is one of the many children of two Slime Dragons, She had to fight for attention among her siblings, which for her, was hard as they tended to gang up on her,
she spent more and more time away from her family, not liking having to fight for attention.

Met the Professor on one of his explorations
She latched onto the professor as he didn't push her away, encouraging her indulging him in his conversations about the surface.

Relationships:

Professor:
Loon looks up to Pro, he is her role model someone cool to follow, someone fun to play with,
she herself is weird and outcast among her siblings, finding someone who is also considered weird, she felt like she had a connection, like he was someone she could relate to.

Mother:
Loon tries her best to get her mothers love but feels like she is glossed over for her sibling who are more skilled then her.

Father:
She has little relation to her father, he is often doing
his own work and not paying much mind to his children

Siblings:
They often berate and get angry at her for mimicking and following them around she often tires to show them affection and things she caught rather then fighting them
