Animation Project: Absolute no progress due to dumb

So the only thing I have managed to do is Finnish off this piece of concept art, I should be doing more, but I'm just having trouble functioning  (excuse probably idk)

I have worked on my treatments, second Pass which I will attach my progress later on in this blog.

An idea I had for how Martha is telling her past to Ezaru is this:
In Cross Destiny, Fire dragons can learn light magic, part of light magic is Illusions,
I am thinking the visuals accompanying that nariration, is Martha using her magic to make them, to show us and Ezaru what happened

‘How we Met’

Ezaru swops in and flops down in the doorway sobbing. Inside Ezaru’s mother, Martha, hears a sound coming from outside and opens the door. She sees her daughter in clear distress and nuzzles into her to comfort her. Ezaru’s tears flow freely as she tells her mother of her fight with Ace, her best friend. She Borrowed his old book, ‘Traitors of the Forsaken’ without telling him, and thought she would return before he came back,, when she came back ace was franticly searching for his Book, found out she took it and blew up. She then fled back home.

Martha comforts her, ensuring that one fight will not break a good friendship,

Martha mutters (Despite your choice of a human friend) as she ushers her daughter inside and out of the cold. Martha leads Ezaru into the living room sitting her down on a low resting couch.

Martha sits down next to her, folding a wing over her daughter. Martha consoles her daughter saying she had her own share of fights with Nova when they were traveling.

Ezaru chuckles, mentioning when they had squabbled over the last vanilla pudding, she always loves hearing about her mothers own adventures.

Martha, askes if she told of how she and Nova met,

Ezaru’s ears perk as she replies that she hadn’t now begging her to tell the story.

Martha looks at Ezaru and smirks, she will on one condition, that she would, the next day, fix things with Ace. Ezaru sighs before agreeing

FB1:

Martha begins narrating her tale.
Martha is searching for four leaf clovers on a grassy hill, a sound from behind alerts her to an approaching presence, she turns to find another dragon. Curious, Martha askes who the mysterious dragon is. The dragon introduces himself as Nova, trotting over to the tree centered on the peak of the hill. He jumps up against the trunk shoving his head into the hollow, much to Martha’s confusion and continues the conversation. Nova brings up he hadn’t seen her around here, being one of his usual hang outs with his friends,
Martha brings up she is looking for clovers, she hadn’t had much luck in other clover patches, so she was searching in new locations. Nova pulls out a small wooden box out of the trunk with a “ah-hah” Before either can speak a distant shout is heard.
Nova curses and fly’s off with a quick good-bye thrown into his departure.

(Back to Present)

Conversation

Did you ever find out what was in that box?

Martha continues the story, she had returned the next day to continue her search. Nova sneaks up behind her as she unknowingly brushes through the clover patch, Nova grins and Pounces upon her. Martha screeches pushing a laughing Nova off her. She askes why he is back at the hill, Nova responds that he forgot something in the hollow, besides it was a usual hang out for him and he should be the one asking why she was back.

Ezaru interrupt her mother’s Narration,

“Oh he defiantly came back to see you” – Ezaru

“Defiantly, though he still wont admit it” - Martha

Both dragons burst out giggling, Martha says she didn’t blame him, there weren’t many young dragons in their home dimension, and given that his family were high status in that world they didn’t like their family spending time with others that they would consider ‘a bad influence’ which apparently Martha’s family had fallen into, didn’t make it easier to find a good friend.

They both come to the tree for another catch up, after having been busy on both sides.
They meet under the tree and start chatting only to hear screams in the distance, they give each other a look and fly over to see what the commotion is.

Other dragons rush past as they fly towards and they stop in their tracks looking at what befalls them. Human are infesting their home, striking down dragons and destroying their homes.

The young dragons are snapped out of their shock at a human charges at them throwing a net, it catches Nova and he plummets to the ground, Martha shreeks and dives after him clawing away the net, managing to shake it off before they hit the ground, flying away as fast as they can with a firebreath to the human.

As they fly away martha shouts she needs to find her family, so that she can leave with them, they are cut off by a large dragon halting them, Nova recognizes him as his father and asks about his other family, his father doesn’t know and ushers them to leave with him, that they will find the others at a later time.

Martha protests at this, saying she needs to find them only to be cut off by Nova’s Father.
They did not have the time and it was too dangerous, He turns his head to see approaching humans, He shouts for them to move running himself while making sure they follow.

Nova’s Father sets of a large fire blast and the three fly into it, Nova’s father’s foot however is snagged by a hunter, he snapped off and turns to hold them off getting the other two to flee into another dimension. (more drama please, push it a bit more so we as the audience feel panic)
