Animation Project

Initial Story Idea:

This story takes place in an underground world, that has no knowledge of the surface world (Inspired by Slug Terra)
In this world there are no humans, no others then the professor, who somehow (WIP) Is trapped down there with no ways out (yet)

This world is filled with bug/bird/dragon/animal like monsters (Inspired by Hollow Knight)
The Professor has made a life for himself there studying this mysterious underground world while trying g to find a way out (Motive pending)

I am wanting the plot of the short film to center around the professor and his dragon companion, trying to gain a key item, to unlock a way to the surface or at least the path to the surface,

at this point i'm thinking of a forbidden cavern or hidden one that leads to an unexplored road, one that will lead to the surface.

the short film ends but their journey begins.

Motive to the surface: (Pitch Ideas)
- To prove a point to his new friends
- To get better research equipment
- Left the oven on

World Lore:
In the ancient past monsters use to live on the surface, forced to flee underground due to being hunted to near extinction, over the years the over world was forgotten.
Humans are like mythical creatures in this underworld, thought to be of myth
