Animation Project: Update

Progress Update:
Inside is pretty much done, though I may need to make a few light sources
on top of that I have modeled a bookshelf as an asset, everything has been beveled though the main house has a messed up mesh, hopefully it will be okay. if its not I will try to fix it from an earlier version and do it right, everything else seems to be okay though so thats good.

The outside is pretty much done too, just basically adding a bunch of rocks to a base, Im not doing the whole mountin as the rest can be drawn in and merged with the 3D

Finally done Martha's mane now both dragons have hair, I can't figure out how to make the tail fluffy in maya, so I may leave it as such for Z-brush (or synth Hair) I don't know  the word right now, (Its eluding me  -_- making fake hair in maya making it look pretty, I am planning on putting this on top of the manes too.

Group Project: Production

Character Animator:
Character animator was tricky to learn, so it was a trial by fire

I Rigged the 3/4 of the spider, however, it seems despite having riggs for all the characters for each scene I animated I would still need to re-rigg parts or even the whole character,
I used the Spider, bear and Boy riggs with the scenes I was assigned

Project Management: Concept and storyboards

Project Management: 3/3/2020

Today we sifted through more of the concept art, I created another apider experimenting with shorter legs, however, My first spider was preferred:

I am now to experiment with a few different things with the spider,

Like the bony style. Head needs to be bigger. Fangs and only 8 eyes on the head. Rest of the body black and white

On top of this I will start thumb nailing the storyboard (Cave scene) before the next meeting on Thursday (will do Wednesday afternoon.)
There are 4 animators on the animation team, Fabri is busy so the scenes are being split between, Benthany, Ramya and I. I  asked to be able to storyboard the Glowworm cave containing the spider.

After the meeting we will move on to properly create a storyboard.

Animation Project: Update 28/7/2020

Animation Update:

Thumbnails:
Thumbnails are don't and waiting to be turned into a storyboard, some of the angles need a little work though.

Dragon:
Only thing unwrapped are the eye balls, and I am now modeling ruffs for the Mohawks and tail fluff

Setting:
I am internally screaming
I messed up on beveling the edges the first time doing them all at once, which was apparently a bad decision as it left a lot of rooms for mistakes, so now I am going through the setting beveling things properly though I am still having trouble figuring it out.

There were only 3 things that needed re-beveling all but the house base are done as the house is proving to be difficult (my own fault for making it complex.

Reflection: Outcome:  Overall I am okaish with the outcome, the project ended with a lovely style that ended up meshing well with the 3D an...
